As an online marketer I am often surprised by the number of businesses who don’t use email as a marketing tool but at the same time are always asking “How can I get visitors to my website” or saying “I don’t get many visitors to my website”.
With the financial world in the mess that it’s in, email marketing is a very simple and affordable way to get your sales message across.
There are many different methods of increasing traffic to your website but most of them fail because they only get your sales message once. If they do manage to find your web page, chances are they don’t stay long enough to buy and you have lost them forever.
What if there was a way for you to get your sales message in front of your prospects and customers not once but many times using a system which will get your website and sales pages noticed regularly?
Well guess what? There is! It’s called an ‘autoresponder’. An autoresponder is a system which can send unlimited individual and unique messages to your data base of customers/clients/prospects at any intervals you choose. (You do have a data base don’t you?)
How To Get Web Visitors Using An Autoresponder
When your prospective customer visits your website you present them with an irresistible free offer in exchange for their name and email address. This could be a free information series based on your product or service.
When they have signed up for your free gift, send them a series of messages spaced a few days apart.
Your clients must see these messages as being valuable information and, if they find your information useful, will click on the links to your sales page. At this point you have an excellent chance of them buying your products.
It doesn’t end there, they have subscribed to your list and you want to keep them returning and buying more often, this is your opportunity to send them a newsletter which you can send out at intervals you think will suit your business.
The secret is not to inundate them with advertising and sales talk but to send them useful and relevant information and place a link to other products which they may be interested in purchasing.
Take care and have a magic christmas.
