It is amazing how powerful the mind is……… how powerful doubt can be.
We live in a world full of doubt and uncertainty so why is it that some succeed whilst others don’t?
It’s all in the mind. Now stay with me here…if we tell ourselves we can’t do something chances are we can’t however if we tell ourselves we can do something and then set a plan in action then we can achieve.I have not only experienced this, I have seen this first hand with family and other business owners.
Whilst writing this blog we are celebrating an achievement and also wondering what all the fuss and worry was about. The doubt that had plagued me over the last 12 months seems so silly now. What I know now is things are never as bad as they seem as long as we get perspective on things and set a plan of action then we can overcome amazing obstacles. Lets face it we are human.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY” Mantra Training & Development is celebrating their first year of business. Now we are not having a party however we are all more grateful today than ever before as we have a fantastic team of passionate trainers and also Cody , who provides fantastic admin support that we would all be lost without.
Sometimes faced with adversity and challenge we find it hard to see the landscape for the fog and we can get caught in the negativity. I have recently experienced this myself, and had to work harder than I thought possible, to see the landscape. So I found what works and I keep doing it. Now don’t get me wrong I fall off the wagon often but the important fact is I always get back on.
What does your wagon look like?
What works for you?
(It is important when finding inspiration to find what works for you).
I was on a walk this morning in my favourite location Mt Ainslie, I get inspired and also I get to breath, which is more important than we realise. Breathing is something we take for granted however the power in deep breathing is incredible. The endorphins that kick in for me when I reach the top are nothing short of incredible.
Fact 1
No matter how bad something seems it will pass. It will pass sooner rather than later if we significantly change what we are doing.
“If you keep doing what you have always done you will keep getting what you have always got” This saying helps me almost daily. I often say it to my Son in times of his challenges.
Fact 2
Change is inevitable so go with it and get excited.
Fact 3
If you hang with inspiring people you will get inspired, If you hang with doubters you will get doubt.
Till next time “What’s your plan of action”
I think this is one of the most significant and yet under-utilised pieces of reality out there:
“If you keep doing what you have always done you will keep getting what you have always got”
It’s mind blowing to look at how many people don’t take the time to breathe and maintain the phenomenally complex machine that is there body with good exercise and nutrition, then wonder why the wheels fall off both in terms of health and professional output.
Hi Donna,
Nicely said. I agree whole-heartedly. I’m trying to do things differently and feel like I’m getting better results. Need to not assume, but go for it and see what happens.
Keep up the excellent work, love it.
Cheers,
Jacquie
